Technical Overview

Test Classification

Classify Inspection/Performance/Service Tests

Test Cycle

25% of life expectancy or 2 years, whichever is smaller

Every year when the difference of 10% or more from the previous test result or less than 90% of the rated capacity

Maintenance Inspection Recommendations

It is recommended by classifying it into monthly/quarterly/half-yearly/yearly special inspections.

Checking List

Pack voltage, cell voltage, cell internal resistance, wiring resistance, temperature, electrolyte leakage, etc.

It is recommended to conduct a performance test when a large change in internal resistance (30-50%) is detected or periodically (1-2 years)

Recommendations for testing

After the performance test, it is recommended to replace the battery if it is less than 80% of the capacity suggested by the battery manufacturer.

Development of Mobile Test Equipment 

PACT-Alliance periodically inspects the plant's UPS and ESS batteries by upgrading existing equipment to be portable.

When it is necessary to take out for uninterruptible power supply testing, it is possible to reduce costs through visiting testing.
