Chungnam Dangjin City Middle-aged and Elderly Technology Startup Center (Director Kwonhyung Cho) successfully held the 'Dangjin City Mock Investment (IR) Competition' on the 21st to verify the business viability of promising startups in the region and to provide opportunities for investment attraction.
The city selected seven companies with growth potential in the region and supported an acceleration program, including specialized consulting for each company to attract investment. Based on the data completed through consulting, the Dangjin City mock investment competition was held.
The companies that participated that day had a chance to introduce their products and services in front of various active investors such as venture capitalists, angel investors, and start-up investment companies, and receive feedback for investment review and growth strategies. Among them, companies that received excellent evaluations were selected and awarded.
The main awards include: ▲Grand Prize winner: 'TS Tech Co., Ltd.', which received high marks for its tunnel reinforcement material technology utilizing a new method; ▲Best Prize winner: 'JHC Co., Ltd.', which utilized a Packaging Box for refrigerated packaging and an eco-friendly refrigerant; ▲Excellence Prize winners: 'Fact Alliance Co., Ltd.', a heavy electric equipment testing and diagnosis platform company, and 'Hiworld Tech', which monitors electricity usage in real time based on big data.
The company that won this award plans to strengthen its capabilities through continuous meetings with investors and acceleration support programs.
Center Director Cho Kwon-hyung said, “We will establish a system that will allow startups in the northwestern region of South Chungcheong Province to grow and attract investment at the same time through direct investment from domestic and foreign investors and the Chungnam Industry-Academia Convergence Center accelerator.”
