63 companies sales 101%, employment 105% ↑

Chungnam Techno Park achieved the double benefit of increasing sales and employment through a project to foster promising companies in Chungcheongnam-do, the central region, the western region, and the east-west region.
Chungnam Techno Park (Director Lee Eung-ki) announced on the 8th that it achieved excellent results by supporting upstream and downstream companies in the thermal power generation sector of Chungnam and promising small and medium-sized venture companies in the region through the Chungcheongnam-do-3 power generation companies’ mutual cooperation support project this year.
The Chungcheongnam-do-3 Power Generation Company Mutual Growth Cooperation Support Project is a project currently in progress to foster promising companies in the upstream and downstream industries of the power generation industry and power generation companies located in Chungcheongnam-do and Chungcheongnam-do by contributing 2 billion won each year, for a total of 10 billion won, from 2018 to 2023.
This year, Chungnam TP supported a total of 99 projects, including 24 new employment support projects (25 projects, total of 216.5 million won) and 50 commercialization support projects (74 projects, total of 783.77 million won) for 63 promising companies centered on power generation industry-related companies and power generation companies located in Boryeong, Dangjin, Taean, and Seocheon. As a result, the beneficiary companies achieved sales and employment increases of 101.98% and 105.46%, respectively.
In particular, Kyungil Green Tech Co., Ltd. signed a standard contract with Deogyusan National Park and applied for 1 technology patent and 7 design patents by supporting the design and prototype production of solar smartphone charger products. Its sales and employment by the end of 2020 are expected to be 437 million won and 4 people, respectively, and its expected sales by the end of December 2021 are expected to be 600 million won (up 137% YoY) and new employment is expected to be 10 people (up 250% YoY).
PACT-Alliance Co., Ltd. has signed a contract with Jamaica Public Service (JPS) to support the construction of a character recognition DB system and has applied for three new patents. Sales and employment are expected to increase from KRW 766 million and 7 people at the end of 2020 to KRW 1 billion (up 132% YoY) and 11 people (up 157% YoY) at the end of December 2021.
In order to continuously support corporate sales and employment growth, Chungnam TP is currently recruiting new beneficiary companies for 22 years, and as part of the just energy transition, this year it established a business plan centered on contents reflecting the policy keynote of coal phase-out and low carbon emissions, and established a safety management support program in accordance with the enforcement of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act.
